2025 Committee Applications
We are looking for a new committee of enthusiastic members to create ideas, designs and deliver research projects and oversee projects within the area of specialty and interest.
To apply for a committee position we ask for a summary of your CV and suggest a project you would like to lead.
Positions Available
The following positions are available for application. We aim to make Treasurer and Secretary, also a specialty lead
Treasurer
You will be part of the executive committee and for the general running of the society. You will also be involved in the funding of events.
Secretary
You will be part of the executive committee and for the general running of the society. You will also be assisting with communications and organising meetings / events.
Upper GI
You will lead, organise and liaise in the creation and delivery of Upper GI projects.
Colorectal
You will lead, organise and liaise in the creation and delivery of colorectal projects.
HPB
You will lead, organise and liaise in the creation and delivery of HPB projects.
Breast
You will lead, organise and liaise in the creation and delivery of breast projects.
Surgery of Childhood
You will lead, organise and liaise in the creation and delivery of paediatric projects.
Medical Education
You will lead, organise and liaise in the creation and delivery of projects related to the delivery and quality of medical and surgical education.
Peri-Operative Medicine
You will lead, organise and liaise in the creation and delivery of projects related to peri-operative medicine
Core Trainee
You will lead, organise and liaise in the creation and delivery of projects. You must be a core surgical trainee in the North East and can be any theme.
Foundation Trainee
You will lead, organise and liaise in the creation and delivery of projects. You must be a foundation doctor in the North East and can have any interest.
Medical Student
You will lead, organise and liaise in the creation and delivery of projects. You must be a medical student in the North East and can have any interest.
