Northern Surgical Trainee Research Association (NOSTRA) is a surgical trainee lead organisation that delivers collaborative surgical research projects in the North East of England.
The Aim:
Better Research Together
NOSTRA aims to empower trainees to conduct and lead clinical research projects and will support trainees with study design, protocol development, statistical analysis, ethical application, grant writing and study management. We invite trainees and medical students at all levels to attend the NOSTRA meetings and get involved.
We invite all grades of medical students, doctors, and surgical trainees to create, contribute, collaborate, and publish surgical and surgery-related research.
This includes: medical students, foundation doctors, core-trainee doctors, registrars and all locally employed doctors.
